Fijian People Happy Of The Energy Brought By Angel
------Report of the successful installation of 35kW small power station by Qingdao Anhua in Fiji
Fiji is a world famous tourist resort with beautiful scenery, a paradise on earth!
But not all of the islands in Fiji have been developed into tourist resort. Primitive tribes live in most of the islands. Colorful neon lights and wonderful nightlife are so common for us. But the light at night is so precious for the villagers live in Fiji islands. In the dead of night, they are also eager to take a look at the TV like us, to see the wonderful world. However, this easy thing is just a wild wish for them. Because terrible shortage of electrical power, it is a luxury thing to use light for the Fijian villagers. Even the rich family can only use 2 hours electrical power per day. And because of Fiji’s special geographical environment of archipelago, the only way to supply power is diesel generator now. So every single kWh power is extremely precious for Fijian islands with high transport costs.
All this was changed on Aug.3rd, 2015. It was an exciting day, Anhua people overcame so many difficulties, brought the wind turbine from the far east to Fiji islands. The distance from this island to Suva, capital of Fiji is 16 hours by air. When the wind turbine and technical engineer from Qingdao Anhua arrived at the island, villagers of 63 families had been waiting under the guidance of their tribal leader in the early. All villagers dressed up for this exciting moment. And at this moment, we Anhua people were so proud that we brought the seeds of light. In the coming days, we would turn on the light for the villagers.
It was extremely hard of the foundation construction and installation conditions. And it was impossible to use mechanical equipment here. So the foundation construction of the wind turbine was done by hands of villagers and Anhua engineer. Every meal was brought by warm villagers to the construction site. What touched us more is that the Fijian villagers took out the food which they only eat at festival to our engineer every day. When the foundation construction was finished, Anhua and Fijian people recorded this memorable moment together. They left their signature on the construction. Anhua made deeply impressed in the Fijian people’s heart.
The tilt-up tower installed in Fiji perfectly showed its design idea: no need of heavy equipment, just set up the large wind turbine by human hands. All the villagers praised this convenient design. After more than 20 days hard work by Anhua and Fijian people, the first wind turbine in Fiji history was standing successfully on the island. What a beautiful picture!
In the other hand, there is another encouraging thing. The prime minister of the republic of Fiji will visit this island in September or October, and cut the ribbon for the first wind turbine in Fiji. This project is the demonstration project of the republic of Fiji, and focus everyone’s attention upon. Once this project success, Fiji will strive to develop this clean energy project.

We specially prepare for the high humidity and strong corrosion air in the island seaside, to improve the corrosion resistance and ensure the normal service life of our wind turbine.
