In June 13th, 2018, a suddenly extreme weather came out! A darkness fall down until there is no any light, then following with a rainstorm, at last bring out the great ice such as eggs!! How bad the weather is in Qingdao that time! What is more, there is always with a extreme wind speed, which comes up t0 12 degrees, such as 35m/s.
Qingdao may meet this kind of weather every 10 or 20 years! Although it is a natural disasters for Qingdao, it is also a way to test our wind turbines which is installed at our test field in Qingdao. We installed a test wind turbine, Anhua 20 pitch controlled wind turbine on grid system at our test farm in Qingdao since 2012. In period of this time range, from 4ph to 5pm, this wind turbine generate about 20kWh electricity . When the wind turbine inspects the real time wind speeds comes up to the set value 25m/s, the safety protection system stops the wind turbine automatic at 17:09’ 18’’. About at 18:42, when the real time wind speed comes down to rated wind speed, the auto safety system release the wind turbine and let it to work again. The whole process went smoothly and stable!
Runs smoothly at gale, higher output, smart protection at extreme wind speed ,brake release when the wind speed goes down...The actually action in the period show the quality and advantages for our pitch controlled wind turbines! That is also the reason why our wind turbine doing the leader in small and medium wind turbines filed!
